3.6 – Spaceship Setup

This, minus the tablet, is pretty much my default setup. When flying through space in Elite Dangerous or Star Citizen, I use the Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle that I modded as shown in this tutorial video for a long lasting, buttery smooth operation. Thanks to my buddy Mat for printing the parts and sending them overseas!
For a joystick, I went with the Virpil Constellation ALPHA, which offers a very precise steering, and the WarBRD Base.
I combined the Standard Springs with the CosmoSim Cams, which provide a linear deflection force curve compared to the default Aviation Cams which increase resistance the further you move the stick from the center.
I designed a non-destructive mount for the base to attach it to my lounge chair. It can be removed, but I usually just leave it installed.
On the tablet I run GameGlass, but I can’t really recommend it, since there are show-stopping bugs that didn’t get fixed in over a year now. Learn more about the button panels on the 3.7 page.
